Yogesh Koirala

President

Yogesh Koirala is currently a Principal Process Hazard Analysis engineer at Micron Technology Inc. in Boise, Idaho. He specializes in identifying, characterizing, and mitigating process hazards and risks associated with semiconductor manufacturing through a systematic review of chemicals, processes, equipment, and technologies. He previously worked as a Global Process Safety engineer in developing and implementing Risk Based Process Safety Program at Micron’s facility worldwide. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) with more than seven years of professional process safety experience. Koirala earned his Ph.D. at Colorado School of Mines, Colorado, and Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Texas A & M University. He was a post-doctoral research associate at Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center (MKOPSC) and later appointed as a lecturer at Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University before joining Micron.
